Ayer District Court

Middlesex County Superior Court

The most serious charges start in District Court and then move to Superior Court. Middlesex County Superior Court serves every city and town in the county and sits in two places:

Juvenile Cases

When a young person is charged, the case goes to the Juvenile Court. The Middlesex County Juvenile Court sits in Cambridge, Framingham, Lowell and Waltham, and the town where the case arises decides which one.
